Crusaders Volleyball Registration
REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1st

NEW for 2023!! Opens to girls in 3rd-8th Grades: Crusader Volleyball teams are open to all girls who are parishioners at St. Columbkille Church or who attend St. Columbkille School.
Leagues: Teams play in PAL. Teams from throughout the metro area participate including many Catholic teams and teams from other denominations. Game times/days vary.
5th-8th Grade Recreational vs. Competitive Divisions: Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 have both recreational and competitive divisions available. Players will have the option of choosing between recreational or competitive divisions. Here are some guidelines for selecting recreational vs. competitive.
Recreational (5th-8th Grade) Guidelines
Players will play in a lower division of PAL.
Equal playing time is guaranteed.
Competitive (5th-8th Grade) Guidelines
Players will play in a higher division of PAL.
Players will be evaluated for team placement, position, etc.
Placement is at the discretion of the coaches and commissioner.
Equal playing time is not guaranteed.
Additional Details: Evaluations for competitive teams only will be held in April. Practices begin the first week of August. The regular volleyball season begins in late August and ends with championship tournaments in late October.
Fees
3rd and 4th Grade=$60 (one tournament)
5th and 6th Grade= $90 (two tournaments)
7th and 8th Grade= $110 (three tournaments)
Registration fees pay the required league fees, entry fees for tournaments, defray the cost of officials, and assist in the replacement and purchase of new equipment and uniforms.
COACHES NEEDED! We welcome parent coaches and parent volunteers. Having several coaches for every team helps players develop by the individual attention they get. Parent volunteers can also help the team in a number of ways.
