Mission Statement

The St. Columbkille Home and School Association serves to build and strengthen the opportunities that enrich the spiritual growth and academic excellence of the students and staff of St. Columbkille Catholic School.

What is the H.S.A.?
H.S.A. is our school’s Home and School Association. We work to build a partnership between your child’s home and school.   We believe that building this partnership is the best way to enhance our children’s school experience while deepening their spirituality.  Our goal is to help our children take their next steps to be more like Jesus, starting with a commitment to service and giving. 

How do I join the HSA?
If you have a child in Saint Columbkille School, you automatically become a member of the Home and School Association.  Dues of $20 are collected at the beginning of each school year.  These dues help fund various activities and field trips throughout the school year.

Home & School Association (HSA)

The St. Columbkille Home & School Association (HSA) is a dedicated group of parent volunteers who work in partnership with our administration and faculty to support our students, strengthen our school community, and enhance the overall experience for our families. Through service, collaboration, and school spirit, the HSA plays an important role in the life of our school.

Our HSA is organized into the following committees:

Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee plans and organizes events and initiatives that provide financial support for school programs, classroom resources, technology enhancements, and special projects. Their efforts help ensure that St. Columbkille continues to thrive and grow.

Teacher Appreciation Committee

The Teacher Appreciation Committee coordinates activities and events throughout the year to recognize and celebrate our outstanding faculty and staff. From special appreciation days to thoughtful gestures of gratitude, this committee helps show our teachers how valued they are.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee keeps families informed and connected. They assist with sharing important HSA updates, promoting events, and ensuring clear communication between the HSA and our school community.

Uniform Exchange Committee

The Uniform Exchange Committee organizes opportunities for families to buy, sell, or donate gently used school uniforms. This service supports our families by making uniforms more affordable and accessible while promoting sustainability within our school community.

We welcome and encourage all parents to get involved! Whether you can volunteer regularly or assist with a single event, your time and talents make a meaningful difference in our school community.

 
 
 

Our Fundraising efforts help support and provide:

  • Brand new math curriculum, funds for enrichment programs, new school equipment including iPad cart and audio/visual and playground funds
  • Scholarships for two graduating 8th graders
  • Field trips and learning adventures for our children
  • Help with the 2nd grade breakfast, 8th grade dinner, First Communion Quilts and many more major projects
